Project Goals & Outcome
Shottermill Infant School

Choosing the school for a child’s education is perhaps one of the most important parental decisions. Busy work schedules often create challenges for either or both parents to take a physical tour of the school. In an effort to make that process as easy as possible, the school wanted a way to allow for virtual viewing of the school premises in a new and engaging way, especially in light of Covid-19 guidelines.

The virtual tour we created does just that. Visitors can now familiarise themselves with the layout of the entire school premises and engage with the multimedia tags to download the school prospectus, learn the class and teacher names or look at some of the pupils work on the walls.

The primary school virtual tour is now sent to parents as soon as they enquire, allowing for a virtual viewing both before and after a physical visit. In addition, the tour is available 24 hours a day via the school website. The virtual tour has also proved to be a hit with the current pupils as they can explore the school premises at home with a parent when talking about their day.
